Gavin Charles is an experienced public policy professional who has provided analysis, advice, and strategic communications on a range of global issues in both government and civil society. At CCIC, Gavin engages in research, analysis, and dialogue and collaboration around existing policy and emerging trends in international cooperation. He previously spent more than three years working as a policy aide on Parliament Hill, mainly as the legislative assistant to Canada’s Official Opposition Critic for Foreign Affairs. He has written op-eds, briefing notes, project proposals, speeches, and parliamentary motions, and coordinated national and international meetings and networks.
