Chiran Livera

Canadian Red Cross International Operations Department

Chiran Livera oversees emergency operations with the Canadian Red Cross International Operations Department. In this role, he is responsible for organizing Canada’s contribution to emergencies and coordinates the deployment of personnel, relief items, funds and emergency hospitals and clinics. Prior to this role, he worked in emergency response in Ontario, BC and Manitoba, and with the International Red Cross in Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and West Africa coordinating disaster operations.


Chiran Livera supervise les opérations d’urgence avec le Service des opérations internationales de la Croix-Rouge canadienne. À ce titre, il est responsable de l’organisation de la contribution du Canada aux situations d’urgence et coordonne le déploiement du personnel, des articles de secours, des fonds et des hôpitaux et cliniques d’urgence. Il a auparavant travaillé dans le domaine de l’intervention d’urgence en Ontario, en Colombie-Britannique et au Manitoba, et auprès de la Croix-Rouge internationale en Asie, en Amérique latine, dans les Caraïbes et en Afrique de l’Ouest, où il a coordonné des opérations en cas de catastrophe.
