President - World Vision Canada
Michael Messenger is the President of World Vision Canada. He provides leadership to relief, development and advocacy work that supports the world’s most vulnerable children. Michael first joined World Vision in 1990 and spent five years as a public policy officer. He then obtained a law degree from the University of Toronto and practiced law for nine years in Halifax. Michael returned to World Vision in 2007 and served as a Vice President, before assuming the role of President in 2015. Michael has a degree in economics from Gordon College and is in the midst of completing his Executive MBA from Western University’s Ivey Business School.
Michael Messenger est président de Vision mondiale Canada. Il assure la direction des activités de secours, de développement et de plaidoyer en faveur des enfants les plus vulnérables du monde. Michael s’est joint à Vision mondiale 1990 et y a passé cinq ans en tant qu’agent des politiques publiques. Il a ensuite obtenu un diplôme en droit de l’Université de Toronto avant de pratiquer le droit pendant neuf ans à Halifax. Michael est retourné à Vision mondiale en 2007 et a occupé le poste de vice-président, avant d’en assumer la présidence en 2015. Michael est titulaire d’un diplôme en économie du Gordon College et il est sur le point de terminer son Executive MBA à l’Ivey Business School de la Western University.
