Principal, Dream Maker Venture
Danielle Graham is a Principal at Dream Maker Ventures, the first Canadian Venture Capital (VC) Fund founded by people of colour and women, focused on investing in diverse, underrepresented, underestimated entrepreneurs.
She has been active in the tech ecosystem, first as a founder herself, founding the Fierce Founders programs, the first female-focused accelerator and bootcamp series in Canada, which continue to provide over $500K in seed funding to early stage female-led startups. Danielle has been an important part of the angel community network, as a board member, investment officer and source of diverse deal flow to GTAN, the Angel Alliance and the Laurier Startup Fund.
Previous to Dream Maker, Danielle oversaw the Market Readiness Fund, Ontario’s most active seed-stage fund, investing in up to 40 deals a year at $125K-250K. She has been an active champion for women’s initiatives such as #MovetheDial, the Big Push, Dovetail, and GTAN WIT, the first angel group training program for female investors.
