Program manager - Société de coopération pour le développement international (SOCODEVI)
Jonathan Boudreau is a program manager at the Société de coopération pour le développement international (SOCODEVI). In this function, he oversees the Financement agricole et rural au Mali (FARM) project since 2014. He has worked for the Canadian Forest Service, the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing and the Geological Survey of Canada. Over the past ten years, he has contributed to the various stages of agricultural microinsurance product development, from initial needs and risk assessment to pricing, process definition and improvement. He has been involved in feasibility studies for agricultural insurance in Vietnam, Guyana and West Africa, as well as product development and implementation in Sri Lanka, Malawi, Haiti, Colombia and Mali. He is also involved in the implementation of loan guarantee mechanisms and in the development and deployment of information systems. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in geomatics and a master’s degree in remote sensing of forest ecosystems at Laval University in Quebec City.
