Shannon Johnson

Director of Operations, Make Music Matter

With 25 years of experience working with organizations such as UNHCR and the Red Cross, Shannon has developed, delivered, and implemented innovative solutions for vulnerable populations internationally; focusing on human rights, humanitarian relief, health, economic development, microfinance, and the arts. Shannon specializes in people and project management, policies and systems development, MEAL (monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning), knowledge management, training/capacity-building, business development, and promoting partnerships. In the past, she has held a position on the Board of Make Music Matter and offered her services as a volunteer in other capacities. In the role of Director of Operations, Shannon is now pleased to be working full-time for one of the most creative and effective organizations in the business, together with their equally impressive list of partner organizations and artists. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and a Master of Business Administration.
